It is with sincere sadness to share the fact that we will not be afforded the after-school program as of yet @ Plateau Valley Assembly of God (PVAG)...we will sadly have to postpone Kid's Time due to the numerous measures taken by the state, county, and school district; let alone the budget cuts the transportational service is undergoing at the Plateau Valley School. With that being said, all of us at Plateau Valley Assembly of God are continually praying and anticipating the resuming of Kid's Time come Spring 2021 or earlier. We will continue to expand our ever increasing demand for our Back-pack program and our Food-Pantry @ PVAG each and every Friday from 3 PM to 5 PM.
God bless you

News from the Pastor of Plateau Valley Assembly of God~
After much prayer and fasting and more requests and requirements from the General Council and Rocky Mountain District regarding COVID 19; we will sadly have to cancel church for at least the next two weeks-we will continue to distribute Food Bank by way of our limiting a 10 individual gathering with PPE; drive through; and social distancing. Please continue to pray without ceasing for our family @ PVAG and this nation! Please call me if you have any questions. I am praying over all of you Romans 15:13, “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Thank you for cooperating in the interest of public health and safety! Special Bulletin Food Bank/Food Pantry |
~ Important Message ~ From the Community Food Bank/ Food Pantry
Key Facts of the upcoming Plateau Valley Assembly of God (PVAG) Church Food Pantry Distribution, including TEFAP (this Friday the 20th of March will be open for distribution from: 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM)! Our goal is to work together to lessen the potential impact of COVID-19 in the Western Slope of Colorado.
1. In response to the COVID-19 crisis, The Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) has waived the signature requirement for TEFAP client applications, effective immediately.
2. Our Implemented method of distribution will be a “drive through” style in which clients line up outside of the church (*in their vehicles) in the parking lot; not getting out of their vehicles other than to receive their food. Intake is a verbal conversation held at a distance-six feet for social distancing and then food product is placed in the back or trunk of their car.
3. We will have access to hand washing stations or hand sanitizer, in addition to face-masks and disposable gloves for our ten volunteer workers during intake and distribution.
4. Everyone is to avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands. Hugs and handshakes should be replaced with non-contact forms of greetings while keeping the appropriate social distancing.
5. Please bring your own totes or a solid large cardboard box for the surplus of food to be received.
We stand firm to pour out the abundant blessings and love of Jesus Christ in and through our ministry @ Plateau Valley Assembly of God Church!
